My husband, Randy, and I were looking for men’s workwear clothing in Duluth’s Trading Co. when we came across some men’s underwear.

I started reading the names and descriptions of the underwear and started to giggle. The giggle became a laugh and eventually turned into an all-out snort-filled, eyes crying, bent over laughter extravaganza!

My husband just stood there acting like he didn’t know me.

I’m a parent with a twisted sense of humor, and I’m not the only one.

I think it’s actually healthy because I’m able to laugh at things that normally would drive someone crazy!

A sense of humor (twisted or not) will get you through the highlights and pitfalls of parenthood. For example, I have a child in diapers so every day is full of shits and giggles. Literally.

My friend Beth and I bond over our twisted sense of humor. I’m so excited she’s pregnant with her first baby!

My son and I played Pie Face Showdown with my sister’s family, and did we laugh and laugh! The players and everyone watching are giddy and excited to see who gets creamed. As you can see, we also ended up with hilarious photos of whipped cream splattered faces.

The Book with No Pictures by B.J. Novak is a hilarious children’s book. Children won’t care that there are zero, zilch, nada pictures or illustrations in the book because they will be laughing so hard at the person reading the book to them.

That’s because the reader has to say the silliest words and sentences like…

The rule of “The Book With No Pictures” is the reader has to say all of the words in the book no matter what. That’s the rule!
